Louisiana roof grant roofers, by parish

A Louisiana roof grant can put up to $10,000 toward a roof that meets the IBHS FORTIFIED Home™ standard. The state contractor list names a city, not a parish. Roof Grant Louisiana maps those roof grant contractors to a parish so you can line up the bids a roof grant application asks for.

Not a state site

This directory is not endorsed by the Louisiana Department of Insurance, the State of Louisiana, or IBHS. Hiring still has to go through the official roof grant process.

Roof grant roofers by parish

If your home is located within one of the parishes listed below, you are eligible to apply for the lottery. The 25 parishes below are the ones named on the program page retrieved November 3, 2026. Counts are roofers whose listed city maps to that parish. We do not know who will travel.

Source: Louisiana Department of Insurance, Fortify Homes, retrieved 2026-11-03. A May 27, 2026 LDI release said earlier partial parishes were brought fully into the 2026 round. Confirm an address on the official map before you apply.

New Orleans roof grant

Orleans Parish is on the current eligible list. The New Orleans roof grant path is the same state lottery as the rest of south Louisiana, with a separate city gap program for some households after a state award. Start with roofers based in the parish, then the neighbors across the line.

The lists, in one place

189 approved roofers and 54 approved evaluators from the state lists dated November 2, 2026. 21 roofer rows name several places instead of one city, so they are not pinned to a parish.
