Roof grant lottery status
No roof grant lottery is open. The next date has not been announced.
On the Fortify Homes page, retrieved November 3, 2026, registration was closed and the department said additional grant rounds will be announced later. That page does not give a date for the next roof grant lottery.
The last round LDI announced opened at 8 a.m. on June 1, 2026 and closed at 5 p.m. on June 19, 2026. It offered 3,000 grants of up to $10,000. Selection notices were scheduled to start June 22, 2026. People who were not picked have to register again for a later round. Registering on the first day did not improve the odds.
You can create a profile on the official site while the lottery is closed. A profile is not a registration and it is not an award. Do not start roof work because you expect a future grant. Work that starts before approval is not eligible.
